Dave got a new knee!

Wow on the 8th of March Dave went in and had his knee replaced. The surgery took about 2 hours, and then he was in Great Bend Regional Hospital for 3 days. He came home and we've been hitting the exercises cautiously because his hip has caused some static, but he is doing so much better. He can get up an around when he is in bed very well, his recliner is too low for him to go from sitting to standing. But he is getting stronger every day. Thank the Lord!
Been keeping up with grandkids and kids' birthdays. Barney turned 30 last Monday, 14th, and Davika turns 36 on the 23rd and granddaughter Alayna turns 9 on the 24th. Whew if that wasn't enough dad turns 81 on Saturday 26th and Dave turns 60 on the 31st. Little Tyler was 3 months on the 4th of March and coming in close to 4 months. He looks so much like his older brother when I see his pictures. They are so cute. Little miss Lexi is getting ready for her 3rd birthday in May, she is such a cutie and a doll to boot! She is going to have a little brother born around her birthday too.
Dave tells me and remind others that we need to preserve and save up food, and save for the uncertainty that is coming. So we have our garden plowed again, and getting ready for the seeds and planting. With the weather being so nice lately it is hard to stay out of the garden area. We need to fertilize the area and till it up again.
I was reading in the 'Friend' and one of the things I'm going to try to do daily is to write a 'thankful' journal. Listing 2-3 things that we experienced during the day, identify how they are a blessing from Heavenly Father and if need be, share it with someone. I thought it was a great idea, and I can even get more motivated for journal entry.
Including last year's pictures of the tilled garden area, not much different, just another year.

Hi Tina,
We have moved to Texas and were at a friends home who have tv channels and there was a show on called something about shooting. The guys did trick shots and such and it made me think of you.
Hope you are doing well.
