The second picture is the field just south of the house right after the burn. We roto tilled some of our yard for the garden where it was burnt as in the first picture. We planted some in the garden, but need to do more. We're looking forward to 4 grandkids to come spend some time with us this summer. We're going to have some fun and take lots of pictures too.
We have heard good news about our 2nd oldest grandson. He will be able to come to Kansas in June, and just have to take some medication until he goes back to Florida. We prayed that he'd be able to come and see us, as well as all the others. Now for that darn gas to go down! It did go down .10 cents the last day or two, but that means we're still paying $3.79 a gallon. We should complain looking at what some of the other countries we should feel blessed. ugh
