With the exception of being sick, too often for my preferences, nothing much has been going on but the weather. Some days the weatherman will forecast 80% rain, and what do you know the day turns out so nice and not a bit of rain. I guess they get the rain east of us. Some of us in Kansas proclaim that the forecasters only go as far as wichita and then Kansas drops off the map for accurate forecasts. Oh well, if you don't like the weather one minute hang around for the next and you might, that is another saying.
Alayna and Davika had birthday's this week, Barney had a birthday earlier in the month, and Dave has his the end of the month. Oh and Dad will be 80 on Thursday this week. This is one funny thing about 80 year olds.
On a lighter note or one that brings hope I found this an interesting blog to view. Our Ward members attended the Oklahoma City temple this past weekend, and then had Ward conference the day after. What an enriching experience.
So here's to those birthday people near and far, We love you and think of you often, as you get older it is the experience you gain, not the wrinkles that distinguish you. We love you regardless.

Yes, it is an experience of getting older, Bud is doing fine at 80, said he doesn't feel it. I want to tell all that had birthdays from me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY and hope all will git as ol as Bud.
